If you decide to do that, you can put out buckets of crayons and activity books.

Hire a teen to watchover them and play iwht them. Arm her with bubbles and the ability to go outisde and play. Don’t straddle her with 20 kids, but 5 to 10 is fine.

I agree though, no kids at weddings until in the wedding party – I would NEVER take mine when they were young.

I would watch out with bubbles and play dough and anything sticky . That stuff can spill or stick on to everything. You can get markers and that paint stuff that only works on special paper. So no one will be able to write on the walls or on anyone’s dress. You can get coloring books from the dolor tree for a dollar and a whole box of crayons for a dollar.

I would do an assortment of crafts for the kiddos to do. Coloring books, blank paper, play dough. All of these can be cheap, go to the dollar store.

I had a kids table and got kids gifts bags from ebay. You can pick a theme, like Hello Kitty, Star Wars etc . they came with accessories, colouring sheets, wee bits of jewellery, sweets etc and they are personalised with the character of your choice and the child name. The kids LOVED them!!! I paid around £1.95 each, im not sure how much that is in dollars, but they were a complete bargin!!

Type, Child wedding gift bag, into ebay and check them out!!

Another idea we had thought of was to cover their table in white roll paper with colouring pencils so they can draw and do what they like without running table cloths etc!

I didn’t do an activity book, but I did make a bucket for each child and put it at their place at their table. I went to the dollar store and bought buckets in my wedding colors, then I bought a huge variety of things I thought kids would love. I had an outdoor wedding, so I bought sunglasses, glow necklaces and bracelets, fairy wands, bubbles, coloring books, etc. The kids loved them!
