Question by 8948: Will the book Disney Guide for Kids 2011 do for 2012?
I am taking my grandkids to Disney World in March 2012 and I wanted to by the book Disney World Guide For Kids 2012 but it is not out yet. I am giving them this gift in 3 weeks. Do you think the 2011 version will be good enough..

Is it good enough? Sure. Will it be totally accurate? No, as it actually came out in 2010. If its the Steve Birnbaum book, the 2012 edition is supposed to be released on 9/27……

Which book are you looking at? There isn’t a book called “Disney World Guide For Kids 2012″ or “Disney World Guide For Kids 2011″
If you are talking about: Fodor’s Walt Disney World with Kids 2012: with Universal Orlando, SeaWorld & Aquatica (Special-Interest Titles) by Kim Wright Wiley (Aug 2, 2011): It came out over a month ago but I wouldn’t recommend it. I bought the 2002 version a few years ago and the info in in was outdated by a couple of years.
If you are talking about Birnbaum’s Walt Disney World For Kids 2012, as Herfnerd said, it will be available in a couple of weeks.
If you are speaking about a different book from the 2 mentioned above, I don’t know what book it could be but I can tell you that the Birnbaum’s books are the most accurate and I have been disappointed in any WDW guide books other than theirs.
