Hi Orca, I haven’t read a good romance story for a very long time. I’m not really sure what book to tell you to get for a 10 year old. Lol

I’d reckomend Nora Roberts but I believe someone already did.

i really like books by nora roberts because they are both interesting and romantic. some that i reccomend are “the key trilogy”, northern lights, morrigans cross, the born in trilogy and the “once upon” series.
some other books i reccomend are: river of fire by Mary Jo Putney, Sirena by Napoli, The last mermaid by Shana Abe, The age of innocence by Edith Wharton and the “song of the lioness” trilogy by Tamora pierce (though this one is not too overly ramantic as the others.)
i believe that these are some good titles and some very good writers as well!!

When I was 10 and 12 my mother had to check my books out for me from the library because the librarian said the ones I wanted were too old for me.

The ones I remember best from that time are historical romances written by a woman named Jan Westcott. I remember two titles, “The Queen’s Grace” and “The Hepburn”. I loved them both, all of hers really. They are out of print and you can’t get them at your local book store, but you can order them for cheap on line. I know, because I have. I wanted to read them again.

Another really good author I remember from that time is Thomas Costain. He wrote one called “The Black Rose” and another called “Below the Salt”. All of his are good, too, and you can buy them on line.
